Annual Meeting Notice
The MSD Federal Credit Union Annual Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday January 20 at 3 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Training Room of the Central Maintenance Facility, located at 3050 Commerce Center Place, Louisville.
The election of two new members to the MSD FCU Board of Directors will take place at this meeting. There are three candidates running for the two positions.
The candidates, in alphabetic order, are:
Russell Bobbit – Linear Assets Support at MSD. He has a Business Degree and previously had his own business in the transportation field, therefore, he has management experience and skills. He will focus his skills and experience on the specific goals of the credit union.
Zequoria Boone – Innovation Program Specialist at MSD. Her role requires evaluating financial impacts, ensuring fiscal accountability and aligning resources with organizational priorities. She has prior banking experience in financial operations, member services, risk awareness and responsible financial stewardship.
Zonetta English – Strategic Initiative and Project Delivery Director at MSD. She leads research for new processes and advanced technologies to enhance any aspect of MSD. Provides direction for strategic initiatives in the way of research, technical support, financial analysis and project delivery. Develops and maintains processes consistent with best practices, federal, state, and local laws.
All members of the Credit Union are invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.
Please note that the Credit Union Office will close at 2 p.m. on Tuesday January 20 to allow the staff to attend the meeting.
Attention: Scam Alert
The MSD Federal Credit Union has been made aware of what appears to be a scam. Some of our members have received a mailing requesting "IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED" that appears to have come from the Credit Union. This mailing references Lender info: Msd Fcu and contains a numeric Property Code.
The text of the message states "This letter is to inform you about an important matter regarding the property at <member home address> secured by your current lender which is Msd Fcu. We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice. Please call us IMMEDIATELY as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU 1-888-801-7242"
The mailing includes what appears to be a check with a Blue Background and Microprinting, however, this document does not have a company name, address or check number. Also, the Signature Line is blank, therefore, this is not a valid check.
I can assure you that this notice did not originate from, or affiliated with, the MSD Federal Credit Union.
In summary, this mailing appears to be a scam. If you do receive this mailing, please contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or disregard the mailing.

Mission Statement
The mission of the MSD Federal Credit Union is to provide a safe and favorable place to save, and to provide loans and services for prudent and productive purposes at a reasonable rate, now and in the future. The changing needs of the membership will be supported while maintaining long-term financial stability of the Credit Union.
Membership Eligibility
You are eligible to join the MSD Federal Credit Union provided you are employed by, or retired as a pensioner from MSD, the Louisville Water Company, or are employed by the MSD Federal Credit Union.
Family Members
You are eligible to join the MSD Federal Credit Union if you are a member of the immediate family or household of an MSD employee or retiree. "Immediate family" will be defined as spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent or grandchild. This will also include step-parents, step-children, step-siblings and adoptive relationships. "Household" members will be defined as persons living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit. Family members have the same privileges as primary members.
Update Your Contact Information
Review the contact information for your account at least once each year and contact the credit union to make any changes or fill in missing information. Update your Postal Service address, email address and telephone numbers. Mail returned because of incorrect address information is charged a fee of $5 per item.
Account Ownership Options
You can set your account up as either single membership, where the account belongs to the member, no one else has access to the funds; or joint ownership, where the account has two or more owners, each owner has the right to access the account individually. The primary person on the account must be a member. A joint owner does not have to be a member. You may retain your membership for life, providing your membership is active and in accordance with the by-laws of the Credit Union.
